What to give dad (gift) on his bday on 27th??

Hey guys..
my dad's bday comin up on 27th dec.
im running out of ideas about what gifts to give him on his bday.
He is very simple but loves perfumes/pens/watches etc.
do suggest some gifts asap as i need to buy it before his bday.

u ve already told..tht he loves..watches..and pens..etc.

so maybe a nice watch..if u r budget allows..or a nice pen like some executive one's for RS 400-500 from PARKER etc etc..tht's what i gave to my dad..as i has only 500 bucks..and dad working..at an executive level..he used to use a simple UniBall pen. then i tht why not gift him some really classy signature pens...which will suit..him...at his work place..so i bought one..and he loved it !!

if u r dad still works..u can gift him with a nice TIE..or something.if he likes wearing..tie..there are many ideas...

perfumes..too are not a bad idea..but u must be knowin ..what kinda smell he likes..buy according..to it..but still i suggest stay away from perfumes..
 
my budget around 2k. i gave him Titan Edge slim gold plated watch last year (me & my mom shared) :bleh: i wonder what to give him.. he has world class imported perfumes so i think giving perfumes to him will not make sense. any idea abt giving soem special gifts?
 
just one thing. pls pls don't give PARKER pen as gift. so common, even don't have to open the gift paper to know whats inside and the quality is also not that good :no:

my dad has a Cross Pen and Mont Blanc too :bleh: parker will be like a 3rd grade for him.

suggest some unique stuff so that my dad will remember for whole of his life
 
I am around the age what I think your Dad will be ...Hmmmmm ... what would I like....

... an Ipod ?

....if he is a Handy man like me a nice Toolkit from the hardware shop at Heera Panna

.... If he is a car maniac (NOT me) then get some gadgets for the car ....

.. if he is a heavy Coffee drinker get him a good Expresso or regular coffee machine...

... if he likes to take walks get him a high tech super expensive pair of walking shoes....

want more suggestions ?
 
wow. nice reply. he is a businessman.. but he like some sort of beer/whisky he likes hard drinks. so any unique bottles of drinks like champaigne or something?? can i give such things on bday to him??

How about a nice cut glass decanter and glasses/mugs .. the bottle of booze will get drunk and thrown away - these cut glass stuff will be with him for long...
 
^^ Refrain from that... But a nice pair of cut glasses and a very sexy cork opener.

what is decentler? u mean booze dispenser?? wow cut glass booze glass/mug will be awesome gift :bleh: well my dad does keep booz for long time and opens on special occasion i remember he kept golden flakes drink (some high quality expensive whisky or donno what (white color liquid with golden flakes))
for almost 5-6 years and finally opened last year new year :P
so my dad doesnt take cigs otherwise i wud gift him a sexy zippo :D
anyways more suggestion welcomed. @Eazy will u come for me to buy the glass decenter or mugs? available at heera pana or somewhere else?

i think ipod would be expensive out of my budget.
 
Check out some of the stuff that Magpie offers.... They have some really classy bar stuff all stainless steel and it is very in...

Also i liked Masky's Idea... Specially cuff links

My mom suggested to gift dad a wallet and a pen.. rest of the stuffs my dad is havin it all. so any suggestion for a very high status/quality pen??
 
If your dad is fond of beer, get him a freeze mug... that's if you can find them :) It's a unique gift that beer lovers would hold close to their heart, I sure do ;)
