To Mods and Admins,

TE went through a transition...good.
But what about my all account info? I reseted my a/c password as advised when i try to log in today. and then....

In my profile i was shocked to see the foll things were lost:

1) Likes which were earned till date got reset!! Now after so much of hard earnings, loosing all this seems pretty ugly. :bomb:

2) The rep bar which was removed in previous VB is back again...good..but what does it say?? i'm on a distinguished road. Are mods ever going to correct the stats/label/rep level appropriately for every member as per his history? ...i mean for me, after exactly 7yrs, does this noobish status justify anything? OR is it so that again we all oldies have to start from scratch? :|

&

3) What about the rig gallery and automobile gallery? Is it lost once again now? :mad:

4) iTrader options isnt functioning in the settings.

Rest i have lost my folders created in inbox/messaging but that can be rearranged again after another painful procedure.

But the above 4 points need serious attention!!

Also now after changing password and clearing all the cookie/cache things and after again re-entering the login details, i still get this irritating pages again n again on every te visit... :facepalm:

I completely agree with you mate...
I feel as if we are taken for a ride

Upgrade is nice but what about all our work and recognition?
 
All points taken mate, but rep is not the only thing on forums. Its just the mutual help and sharing of info that matters. And a member is judged as senior by his knowledge not by his rep. For instance I can count on many members which are pretty knowledgable and no one can call them n00b if they have 0 rep. :)
 
As they say in the west ..... 'tis "Spring Cleaning Time Folks" ..... all the accumulated junk (painstakingly) collected over the years has been thrown out of the window. Time to start rebuilding anew :confused1:
 
My inbox was full when i logged in , to my shock even the PM's from 2007 were there :S.Lost a couple of important PM's in folder :(

On the topic of notifications, does vB support pop-up notification alert as was the case with IPB? I don't want to receive an email for every post in my subscribed thread so I choose the option of receiving notifications via user CP but it doesnt seem to work at all. @Renegade , please help.

In vB, all the subscribed thread to which replies have been made are highlighted in bold in usercp.

This is definitely not the best way and I am sure most will agree. Not ranting but it feels TE has undergone a downgrade after migrating to vB. Lets hope things turn out to be better in near future.

Also, in the past, unread threads were usually in bold and I guess this is the norm almost everywhere. Now, it seems except subscribed threads, everything else is not in bold (correct me if I am wrong).

No unread threads are now also in bold, checked just now.
 
I wonder why no mods have replied even after repeated tags. A redirect to the solution would also be helpful.

Yes it has undergone a downgrade in terms of features. It will turn out to be better or worse in the near future depending on what features vbulletin releases. You can follow all about that on this website. https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/

No I don't think it is possible the way you want it. If you find out how then let us know and we will try to enable it.

Everyone here is a user like you, including me. We all google and try to find out what can be done and how. Even these quote notifications are not part of the standard vbulletin features but we could find a way to enable these. So if you come across something helpful then let us know.
