Graphic Cards What will be a upgrade over x4500 IGP?

I have a G41 combo motherboard with the onboard x4500. I have 4 GB of RAM.

I want a GPU but do not want to spend more coz all i want is to play games on 1024x768 at decent fps. games like f12010 for example.

What should be the card which i should buy to give me performance increase over the current config by spending as low as possible?

budget maybe max 3k.. tho would prefer as low as possible coz dont want to spend much. I dont require the GPU. adding only for my brother who plays few games.
 
Mate, any recent dedicated GPU from Ati or nVIDIA will perform better than the crappy Intel IGP.

IMO, best if you can get a 5670. period. Its worth the price.
 
mate, if you can afford a 5670, go for it. you can play any game you want @ 1024x768 with 30~40 fps easily @ medium to high settings.

Yes the 5450 is a good buy, but its mainly a htpc card for hd playback and gaming at low settings.
 
@Neo...im also looking for graphics card upgrade....i'm in office and given link is block...can you tell me how much it is selling for?
