Hey mods, I am also facing a similar problem. The post count reduced a bit in the last few days (which is already explained). but thats not the problem. My post count is struck at 485 since the last last two days I think. earlier it was struck at 476 some days back. Not that I care too much about the count :) , Is it a bug or is there some other reason for this too. :huh:

Edit: Now for this post it updated to 486. otherwise it was stuck at 485 for the last 4-5 posts.
 
GT & Show-off sections are exempt from post counts. Anything posted there would not be included for tallying your overall post count.

lord_nemesis, i think all is fine. (Out of your last 10 posts, majority were in Show-off section, hence no increment)
 
im fine with the whole post count reduction thing...but if any of the presently posted posts are removed please do notify us :) ...

I don't care about post count, but much care about POSTS, last few days I noticed that suddenly post get deleted and didn't put any NOTICE/REASON for same, even the same post get deleted wher I ask the reason.

At least mod should take care to PM the reason
 
At TE, we periodically delete old/unwanted posts from database to keep the access times fast and reduce unnecessary load. Let me tell you neither mods nor the admins get to know whose and which posts were deleted. Everything done automatically by the system based on cut-off date and particular section. The system deletes 1000s of posts at a go and it will be nearly impossible for us to PM each user effected by this.

Besides, last month we have shifted lots of sections from TE to FE and as a result, more posts were deleted. At TE, its not about your post count, its about making your post count. :ohyeah:
