sir i understand your points above, but the "bought to sell" policy is not applied all over in the forum itself. there is someone who is selling 2x nexus 7 tablest for the purpose of profit, and like him there have been many in the past to do so also.
also regarding sale of replicas, not long ago there was a ps3 controller whose status as fake or genuine was unknown. IIRC correctly it was bought by @asingh .
In this case, it was fake, it would amount to being a replica and hence the sale should not have been permitted.
could you please clarify on the aforementioned topics

Ahhhh yes I saw that, which you were selling for 4k something, just want to point that the same are being sold on eBay for lesser that you quoted & with existing discount coupons ranging from 7% to 10%, it would cost much lesser.

It was not confirmed, and the buyer was free to return back. Montsa's case: IT is a fake. This way: Grey marketing will start.

Even a 2nd hand device is sold for some profit right. I got a motherboard for for 10K, it is worth 10K. Now I re-sell it for 5K. What is problematic here, that it was a fake, and an open declaration: Can get more...or what ever. It sets a bad trend.

thats not the way i meant it.
what if a person gets a motherboard for 200$ from america and sells it here for >200$. he earns a profit (not withstanding customs and other duties, that is ). his sole intention was to make profit.
and thats my question, is that allowed??
Honestly, probably yea. If the buyer has no qualms about it, what is the issue. We do assume that the buyer is doing due diligence for current market prices. That is why we do not allow, low-balling and members to recommend "alternate pricing"; it is strictly between the buyer/seller nexus.
