Hi. I need to buy Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 but it looks like the online prices have gone up 60-70% in the last 4-5 months. Earlier it was available around 4.5K but now it is available around 7K. Are the offline prices similar in Nehru Place? Are the prices expected to come down anytime soon?

Prices have gone up globally.
In nehru place too they will be high but not online high.
Nowadays many smartphones have adopted ddr4 so with more demand the prices have gone up. Pc industry isn't very profitable anyway so these prices are not expected to go down untill q1 2018.

In other news Samsung had it's best quarter ever with a profit of 12.8B.

Talk about creating artificial scarcity!

Yeah, RAM prices are ridiculous. You'll just have to pony up the cash unfortunately. DDR3 costs as much as DDR4 RAM, wtf?! I'm glad I bought GSKILL 16GB RAM in 2016 for just 4.5k at that time.

Yepp, DRAM prices have gone up globally. This will start affecting the graphics card prices also in some time. Best time is to buy now or wait for a long time, unfortunately.
