So I started a new YouTube channel and was setting up a few things.
Then I went to creator demographics, It asked for a survey and guess what was their priorities ?
1st question, Main Lead 1 or more ?
2nd question, Languages you know.
and the next 2 were about LGBTQ+, like dude why do you need this info. and why do I need to clarify I'm not transgender twice.

What's your problem with it?

You can just select "prefer not to answer" if you don't like the question. They've given that option.

Many online forms ask for name and company while signing up. If I don't want to disclose, I just put random values there, as I'm sure many others do as well. What's the need to get triggered just because the questions don't align with your own worldview.

In India, gender and sexual orientations are not clearly understood.

LGB refers to sexuality.

TQ is about Gender Identity.

These two are very different.

Coming to the original issue.

Transgender identity is not well understood in India too.

Person whose gender identity doesn’t conform to their birth sex are called transgender.

In India, they are simply called transgenders, which is an incomplete identifier.

A person can be a Man. But he can be a transgender too. Similarly with woman.

A person born male and identifies as a man is a Cis-man.

A person born female and identifies as a man is a trans-man.

Hence, there are two questions.

One to clarify your gender perception towards self.

Another to clarify whether your gender conforms with your birth sex.

By filling these two answers you said you are a man who was born male, that is cis-man, and not a trans-man.

I hope this clarifies it for you.

There are a lot of moving part which make looks like quick progression in LGBT Rights movement.

BUT this is not happend within year, there were lot of small movement just like civil right but recently they have reached threshold point.
This is more prevelant in west which consider themshelf as modern society and they can freely speak as compare to ASIA/Muslim country. LGBTQ+ is more about sociology/social structure.
There’s more economic incentive to prompt within organization and attract different pool of talent.
Finally Capitaslism can easily digest issue impacted by LGBTQ as compared with Gun control/Medical insurace/undocumented immigrants.

My observation is LGBTQ representation is sometimes really forced or overdone just like now we've AI in our washing machine/light.

There are 3 questions. Shouldn’t answering 1st answer 3rd as well?

Also 2nd question, how can someone be both Man and Woman, seems like we can check the options here.

YouTube or I should say google is on the top of this LGBTQ+++++(I don't know what all alphabets are there). Jobs at Google has very strong reservation for this. And ultimately they belive in that and since we consume so much content from their products so it's easy for them to push this. Netflix follows the same suite.

The nature of the first question is broad. It is whether one considers oneself part of the LGBTQ community, which includes both sexuality and gender identity.

1st doesn’t answer the third automatically because when one says that they are cis-woman, they can be lesbian, which will make them part of the LGBTQ community but not a transgender.

This is complex. People’s gender self-perception has many layers. I myself don’t understand it very well. I know that gender self-perception changes for some people with place, time, event, etc. for e.g. who take part in drag.

Additionally, non-binaries don’t consider themselves either or consider themselves both. So, it becomes difficult to understand whether they are thinking of themselves as none or both. Hence, the check boxes. It doesn’t do anyone any harm, IMO.

It didn't harm right now because we're not impacted. But there are multiple situation where it will goes weird. Imagine a situation when a male identify themself as women uses same washroom with my female family member. This is just one example
