Where can I buy the battery for Samsung Focus I917?

The battery life of my Focus is shit. 8 hours or something. I have to charge it at office and when I get back at home.
I hear the battery is the same as Samsung Galaxy S Plus. Can someone help me buy a genuine battery for my Samsung Focus or for the S plus? This is urgent.

My original battery gave me a day's life time before i had to recharge, i then bought antek battery from ebay which is 1800mah. This now lasts for over 1.5 days.

From your description, it looks like you are on 3G or probably having push email enabled.

I am not on 3G. but I do get mails from Gmail n Hotmail. Whatsapp is a necessity. but my phone brightness, theme etc are set to minimum to save battery. Location is always turnedd off to0 for that purpose..

Where do I get the same battery in India?

Is there no dcently sized mobile shop near your place? You can visit these samsung stores and buy one for Rs. 550 or so.

this should be the best bet for you.. i have the same type and it last quite longer than the stock battery

Yes I ould have. Only if I had known for sure that I could use the battery of Galaxy SI9000 or Sli9003. SO there's the answer to you question.
