I recently bought the Elite 360 and had to squeeze in 4 HDDs. 2 fit in nicely and for the other two, I had to take the help of help of bubble wrap and cardboard. :P

I'm looking for 5.25" to 3.5" converters to get rid of the packaging material that I have used for the same purpose.

If anyone could tell me where I could buy them, it would be great. If someone has spare lying around, I would be glad to buy them and pay for the shipping too.

Fortunately, the Elite 360 has lots of ventilation but I don't want it to continue that way.

Thanks in advance! :)

They call them 'mounting kits' the last time i bought them and should cost about 50 bucks at lamington road. so ask ur pune dealers the same, they might get it that way. They're basically two separate steel rails which screw to the side of your hdds and fit and screw into your 5.25" bays.

Looks something like this but i've never seen them in any colour other than beige.

Btw, you shouldn't use bubble wrap or any other insulating kind of material for fitting hdds into your case. They will trap heat around the drive and cause an untimely death.

Thanks a lot for the info man! Pune dealers are hopeless and am sure will not go to that amount of trouble for a single client. They have enough ignorant clients who come in with queries like "gaming pc banana hai yaar, best dena!"

I'll ask Rahul if he can send some over.

PS: If any TE member is going to Lamington road in the near future, I would be really grateful if he can buy 4 for me and send it via courier. :)

PPS: I've not used bubble wrap on either faces of the hard disks. I've used it along the side to prevent it from moving. But, I know that is not an optimal solution. Just a temporary one.
