where do you guys get movies from?

I know about torrents but would prefer a hassle free legal source even if I have to pay for it. Lots of movies I wangt to see, old one especially are just not available in my local rental [Mothays].

Any suggestions as to where I can download movies?

Dunno if this helps but YouTube Movies has a nice collection of old movies.

Have you tried 70mm/BigFlix? They have decent collections.

Or you could just buy dvds/blurays of the internet. Amazon ftw.

Youtube movies are low res. Wanted something for ipad and TV, so a bit better quality?

Well, there is always TPB. but best is to go with Bigflix/seventymm. They have gr8 collections, and all you need ot do is transcode the video for ipad.

AFAIK, there is no streaming service like Netflix here.

You can get 720p movies on youtube, they have great video quality and audio quality. You can download from there.

If you want 1080p(HD) prints then i think you have to rely on original DVDs from online stores such as Amazon/Ebay/Flipkart. or your local DVD shop like Planet M, Music World, Landmark, etc.
