Not available 'yet', in India at least.

The CLF single core model is available though. Try www.deltapage.com. + check with local Mumbai dealers like theitwares as well on availability of the CLF model.

No dates yet form anyone. Ordering from abroad, just PM KMD=katmandude. Hes a mumbai based dealer on this forum who can order anything you want from US for you :) Get a price quote and you are set :).

Price will be a bit more than direct $ costsince you have to pay his cut + taxes/customs duties etc on it.

Same even if its directly shipped anyway, customs will apply.

Hello Friend,

If your intended usage is for HTPC purpose I am afraid :hap5: D945GCLF2 will not be any help to you, it is too slow to be recommended for an HTPC rig, It can mainly be used in 24 X 7 Downloading Rig or office environment where mainly checking email, surfing net or word processing is done.

I would recommend you to look for energy efficient alternate's like AMD 690G/780G based mother boards which are capable of playing HD Content and provide hardware acceleration (which Intel atom board does not do), along with processor’s like AMD 3600 X2 Brisbane if you find one or AMD 4600 X2.

The idle power consumption of above rig compared to Intel Atom is very negligible when power saving Features like cool & quiet are enabled.
Also under nominal loads when you are watching a movie/listening music/ surfing the net or similar basic tasks the difference in power consumption will be very unnoticeable.

Also the above rig provides you more balance in terms of Energy Savings as well as power thrust which may be needed for applications such as Encoding video/audio content or gaming etc... And more over it is highly upgradeable & not like Intel Atom Board which cannot be upgraded.

Thus my observation is an AMD rig would be a sane decision.

The choice is your :hap2:

Very nicely put. I built a 780G mini-itx based system for the same reasons mentioned by the OP and it was fun, but if I were to do it again, I'd not waste the effort on such an endeavor. The options mentioned above do the same thing and are cheaper and more flexible.

Thx for replying tvarad & tosh79

Now for the above of your solution here are the problem

1) I am not getting any of the mentioned 780g or 690g board in MINI-ITX form factor

2) Even if it is avilable than i doubt it will be avilable in india...

3) Macro Itx is Not that compact and easy to cary as Mini-itx is

4) The only board for 780g is J&W MINIX which is costly.

5) By HTPC i mean a Low end HTPC. which will play AVI, DAT, VOB, DVD, 3GP, etc. I was not talking abt Blueray and HD content as it is not yet common in india..Even if it is than we will convert it to other format like avi and use it. We do not want a FULL resolution for the cost of More space. Xvid format is the highest of the requirement.

6) 5.1 channel is more than Enough no need for DTS and other stuff.

7) Low power is necessary because it will be a download rig and will be avilable 24/7

Do u have a Configuration in mind ?

I just want a MOBO which is Mini-itx and with the facility of Video out or s-video (tv)..

AMD do not consist of Mini-itx Mobos Even if it consist than the chipset will be VIA...check the below link
Motherboards with AMD Chipsets

The only Mini-itx product available is
AMD 690G Albatron KI-690-AM2 AM2 mini ITX

It even doesn't mention that J&W minix 780G motherboard

Can anybody suggest a MINI-ITX motherboard which is availble in india

I found some more suitable Mini-itx Motherboard on the intel Platform.
It seems that only 2-3 companies are working on Mini-itx Motherboard. Zotac have some good product which i think might help.

ZOTAC NF610I-D-E LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 7050 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard $50.00

ZOTAC NF630I-D-E LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 7100 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard $59.99

ZOTAC NF630I-F-E LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 7100 Mini ITX WIFI Intel Motherboard $89.99
Or
Intel BOXD945GCLF2 Atom 330 Intel 945GC Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo - Motherboard / CPU / VGA Combo $79.99
Please suggest which one should i buy

My need is
Mini-itx
Low Power
Must contain a onboard IGP (Svideo will be good for direct TV no monitor)
one Pci express for expansion

Get the nvidia based board if you want a decent igpu. They will help with your video playback too, so that you can go for a lower power/cheaper processor.

Can anybody compare this with atom

I mean

Zotac 630i mini ITX

Intel D945GCLF2 Mobo with Atom 330

Matter of

1) Power consumption (watt)

2) Features

3) Low budget Good processor for 630i

4) Tv-out for both

5) Gfx card for both

6) Heat & Noise
