Storage Solutions Where is Western Digital Service Center??

Hi all,

My WD 3TB Internal HDD has gone kaput. I am residing in Kolkata, West Bengal. I am not be able to locate the service center of Western Digital here. Can anybody help me on this? Do I have to present bill at the service center to avail warranty?? My HDD is in warranty till the end of this year.

Search google for support website of wd.

Create an rma, they will come pick up the drive and return a new one within a week.

No bill needed.

WD will provide pick up and in rare cases you'll have to drop the package at their registered couriers office. Don't forget to create an RMA case before hand.

Because my friend handed over his hard disk to the courier person of western digital three months back for rma but still he hasn't received the product yet.

Well they don't have service centres. They have drop off points in every city.
