Where to buy Dumbbells from ? (MUMBAI)

I stay in South Mumbai....so i went to Metro Junction (Dhobitalao) and asked in many sports shop there and was quoted a minimum of Rs. 95/kg !!! WTF !! :no:

Mostly all shops had 2 types 120/kg for chrome and 95/kg.

Any other shops that I may have missed in this area????

I'm ready to go upto dadar...if its much cheaper there.
I need arnd 14kgs of weights.

I'm looking for adjustable ones.
 
here at kerala

rubber weights 55/- per KG

chrome 85/- KG

one foot bar for dumbbell chrome 200/- [itself weigh close to 2KG]

all other chrome bar 200/- per foot.

screw and assembly on either ends of long bar adjustable 100/- [chrome].

dun know bout cast iron weights. Rubber ones are good and affordable too.

i got a 14KG dumbbell with rubber and a 4foot bar with 8KGs rubber[bar itself weighs 7KG+].

got to get one more dumbbell and some weights soon.

Why don't you try getting resistance cables?
They are good and cheap too.
Besides they dont weigh much. :bleh:
 
u can find cheap ones at chor bazaar......but hope they are pure weight type.....not a typical show off ones......but u can get cheap plus u can even change later and get more by gettin some discounts
 
near Andheri East station- on the path/road between station exit and Pinky subway.

Roadside iron/steel vendors.

heard they sell weights cheap there.

PM rockyme2002- he was there with a friend recently to buy weights. :)
 
Better to buy rubber weights if you are gonna use them at home. And rubber weights which I bought a month ago cost me Rs.30/kg. It shouldn't be much different in Mumbai.
 
thinkin of goin der....but wat price can i expect ?? how to identify pure weights?

must hav som idea for bargaining. :S

Lol in chor bazaar if police comes in jeep..they travel bak in BEST buses..as their armada parts or on sale....plus if u buy u might get alloys free..lolz
