Where to buy genuine windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007

I suggest that you tell your friend to purchase online.

They are extremely cheap.

Right.

Follow these steps:

1. Install Windows 7 without CD key(which ever edition you like leaving Starter). To install without CD Key just click on next button and click no on the dialog box which it will ask you.

2. After installation make sure you have the required drivers to at least connect to the net.

3. Insert an OEM SLP key for your edition eg this one in this site

Windows 7 OEM SLP Key Collection

After that

Install update KB971033 which is also called as WAT update.

4. After installation do a Reboot.

5. Go to Ms website for checking whether you have a Genuine Ms Product.

6. During the process of Validation(it will take sometime to complete). it will say that you dont have a Genuine product.

7. In that same window i.e. below it will tell you to purchase a genuine product online which is much lesser than the product available at the local stores.

8. Follow the steps on the Ms website and Voila you have purchased a Genuine Product.

It is the same RETAIL product and MS will ship you the box after the Purchase is complete.

That's it.

Depends on the Edition.

When I tried Home Premium using that method the price was Rs.3799/-

Max to max it can be Rs.4000/-

BTW my friend's neighbour purchased Windows 7 Ultimate for Rs.8000/-

Somewhat I don't like Windows 7 because it gave me lots of trouble of slowing down every end of 30 days and that too without any reasons.

I still love my Windows Vista.

I have been using it for the past 2-3 months

I got the untouched MSDN ISO which had SP2 with it and Till date I has given me no problems at all.

I have also recomended Windows Vista Home Premium/Business/Ultimate to my 5 friends over Windows 7 because it actually gave better performance in my system and now they are experiencing it.

They are very happy with it.
 
Wow, never thought in the torrenting frenzy there were people wanting to "buy" Windows! Kudos to you bro! - No Pun Intended :D

P.S - I havent bought mine, came with my laptop :D

The price is the same now for Home Premium. I was wondering how MS could give the product so cheap in India. Also confused with the terms before buying the product.

I actually have a genuine xp sp2. Today I wanted to reinstall it (because it became very slow after installing/uninstalling many applications in the past few months). Everything worked fine until I clicked "windows update" (usually I validate windows before doing this step). Now it said my key is invalid (I could still validate using the traditional method by clicking the tiny icon on the taskbar and going through the steps). So, MS gave me an option to buy it. I thought it was kind of phishing or what. So, after seeing your post, I'm glad there is an option to buy windows 7 online. Wow!

My only problem is I don't have windows 7 media. So, here is a quick question. How long did it take for the media to arrive for you (and/or for your friend)?

If you already have the genuine key then you can download the ISO online & write it to a DVD( if there is an urgent requirement).

Hi,

I have a genuine key.....from where do I download the the ISO ? I don't want to download the torrent one, they may be already tampered.

Can you provide any link from where I can D/L Genuine/Official ISO of Windows 7 Trial copy ?
