Where to buy: ipod touch @ lowest price online / local

I have decided to buy an Apple iPod touch 4G (or 5G?) 32GB as a gift for someone. I want to buy the white one, which has caught my fascination but I have no idea about its release date.

I have done my homework before coming to this thread. But the problem is I have scourged so much over the internet that I'm back at square one. I checked the popular websites but I still feel I am missing something. All the coupon codes I had compiled are getting expired and there are many I do not know of. I am actually short of cash and need a healthy discount to make it. I can buy the 8GB one but after owning a 16GB one, I feel 8GB is not enough. The lowest I found was 15.5k. Does anyone have an idea of where I can get it for lower; online or local (Bangalore).

The new ipods are supposedly cheaper. Any idea of how much time it takes for the release to hit our shores.

The reason I am so lost is because I was trying to decide between the xperia mini and the ipod. Was also comparing it to some watches and then back to a phone; Xperia Ray etc. Soon realised that I need help :)
 
iPod's hit India pretty faster than other Apple devices. As of not iPod Touch white is not available on Amazon too. Once it arrives in USA expect a month to get it in India. Getting officially from here is no brainer as iStore India prices are really high instead if any of your relative is coming from USA ask him/her to get it for you. Or the other option is Grey Market.
 
If you are looking for White Itouch 5G then before December it seems unlikely .

You can get 32Gb 4G for 15K from Ebay.

In that case it is better to stick with the current ipod touch. I am looking at letsbuy and ebay for now. Any other websites? Flipkart is expensive (but the only authorised apple seller)
 
Look around on Ebay and ask someone here who has bought it from there for a trusted dealer .

I think you will be able to find it :)
 
Try ebay.in, tradus.in, indiaplaza.in, letsbuy.com (with ICICLB coupon). Anything around 14K is good pricing.
 
get it from ebay or grey market it wont make any sense to buy from authorized dealer (especially for warranty) as Apple provides international warranty and that too without bill. So find a cheapest deal on ebay or you yourself go and get a box packed piece from the grey market.

I've no idea about the grey markets in Bangalore.

I saw flipkart.its quoting 19990 for 32 Gb fourth Gen.

Online amazon is selling for 274.

I decided to order from amazon for same.

Any better place?

Ebay india, use coupons and get it for around 14k.
 
Thanks for the response guys. I made a list of all available online shops and since the actual prices to be taken into account are after applying coupons I'm searching for the same.

I did indeed ask one of the members for the ebay coupon but it was unfortunately already given away. Guess I just have to stay vigilant and wait. Currently ebay and infibeam have the lowest pricing.

Have had a few bad experiences with national market, hence ditching it. I think they sell faulty products.
 
Go to the link and select 32GB. I could not find a link directly to the 32GB one. I don't know if it has EMI. Have only ever tried their COD service.

I saw the 32GB 4th Gen iPod selling for around 13.2k on Indiaplaza couple of days back with the code AXISIPCASH which requires AXIS account. Its currently OOS, so keep an eye open for this offer.
