Got the Laptop delivered yesterday...thanks for the help Supra .....Excellent Display (Seiko/Epson make) and this bugger runs really cool, the laptop didnt even get warm with over 6 hours of usage. the only gripe is poor touchpad, below average speakers and el chepo looking led status lights. Overall VFM

MSI has announced its latest lineup, of 29 laptops which will have the 2nd Generation Intel 2011 Processors ( Sandy Bridge ). Hence, it would be good if you could hold your purchase for sometime.

Maybe at the same price which was going on last year, you can get hold of a new machine.

Which means, you can also get a Intel 2010 Proccy system at a lesser price.

Hence IMO, the wait will be worth it.

btw people on the lookout for cheap MSI Core i3 based laptops can check out the Core i3 330m with 2gb ddr3 and 250gb hdd + intel graphics + 6 cell battery + 2 yrs warranty for 26500(without os) 27000(with os)

I recently bought Asus 1201T.

Initially I was also looking for MSI(I am from Delhi) but I felt the built quality is cheap.

At 2-3 places where demo units were kept I observed broken keys(weird).

Also,try Samsung they are offering some interesting configuration(even c2d in netbook).
