I was wondering If I would be able to get hold of a new Clip Zip or Fuze+ locally. It was launched way back in 2010's ,Also I believe Sandisk has stopped selling Mp3/Mp4 players in India:(.I don't find any option apart from eBay Global Easy Buy ,but the price is quite high.
Need some inputs.:)

A sansa fuze is on sale right here in this forum. Not sure if its fuze or fuze+. Check the market section.

Lot of Fuze + owners have complained about the capacitive touch and the laggy UI. So I am a bit skeptical about it and hence would settle for a clip zip. @Vagabond,I would have done the same thing of getting it from the US but as of now ,I have no friends over there.:(

@thrift, I am the guy that has fuze+ on sale in the market section. The laggy UI was patched after a few months of release. It doesnt lag anymore (You can rockbox it anyway). But the capacitive touch takes a bit of getting used to, no denying that. But once you do, it is actually no different than other types of control. Let me know if your interested. If you want a clip zip, check here or you might want to try GEB through ebay.

Check out amazon global. It had clip+.Not sure if it has clip zip/fuse+.The thing is if you can conduct a group order over 125$,its free shipping.Even after adding customs,it will be quite cheap i believe.

Got a clip zip in very good condition for 1.5K from OLX today.:)
Definitely an improvement from me considering galaxy note as the source.
Although it sounds a bit muddy for me:(.Dont know whether it depends on me getting used to it.I would like to know, if its rockboxed whether there will be an improvement in SQ?The EQ presets are crap.Does rockbox have good EQ control?

Rockbox makes a dramatic difference to the sound quality. Bought a clip+ and rockboxed it and the sound quality difference is just amazing. Am using default settings with only tinkering with bass and treble.

Rockboxed the clip zip and boy there are plethora of options.Tinkering around with it for now.
I am considering a possible upgrade for my Shure SE215.It's because the isolation is way too much and causes irritation after an hour of continuous listening. My ears just give up and I cannot listen to music after that.
Also I found these good enough for pop and classical genre. But these perform poorly in the rock genre, where it lacks details and clear presentation.
One thing I have noticed is sound is very subjective.Auditioning an IEM first is of utmost importance.
Somwehere down the corner of my mind I have my sights on the triple fi 10.These now cost a nasty 250$ in amazon.Once upon a time esantosh and others have ordered it for mere 99$ during the black friday sale.
Anyone in Bangalore have the triple fi 10?
I would like to audition them.I am ready to come to any place in Bangalore at any time for these.:p
