Where to buy Original (and latest) Sciphone from ??

I checked out a few sites and many videos on youtube and found this phone to be quiet a VFM. Ok fine..its ultimately a rip off / clone of iphone but nevertheless it looks cool and features are abundant. Moreover it is not like those typical chinese phone.

So i wanted to know where can i buy a ORIGINAL sciphone. Now original i am saying because there are fakes of sciphone also available n market. So please provide pointers as to buy this sciphone.

Moreover i have heard that the latest one is quiet slim, has 5 page menus, has accelometer, FM radio, dual slim (with both active), Java support etc etc

Also would like to know if the firmware of the sciphone is user updatable ??

Also if anyone is personally using a sciphone, please enlighten us on how it.
 
:O dude u are asking the wrong question when u are in a correct place!...errr i meant "China" , go to the local markets and u will find a million rip off's....
 
^ ya i know..but the problem here is that the volume of these stuff is so high that its really confusing. Moreover there are rip offs of the sci phone available, i have heard. Yahan you cannot trust what you are buying..not even originals from sidey markets. Options like best buy are there but there the price is similar or worse than India.

Infact here there is a big FAKE MARKET where you get non techie stuff like Gucci, D&G Bags, Armani suits/belts, Swiss Gear bags etc for cheap. You just have to shamelessly bargain. They say 1000 RMB, we say 20 RMB..yes that true :ohyeah: :ohyeah:

Also is it not putting 5k (or less) to this phone a wise decision ??

I mean seriously, for people who drool over iphone (but cannot afford or find it ridiculously priced) have this alternative.

PS: One more thing i would like to add here is that contrary to belief that Chinese made stuff (like these phones) are being widely used by people here, it is wrong sincemost of the people here use Nokia, Sony Ericsson (this section is quiet large), Motorola, Sharp, Anycall cell phones and only a few handful buy these local Chinese mobiles.

^^ waiting for the sciphone 3G now. It is actually not a 3G phone, just name given but supposed to be better than previous one. BTW the previous one called as the sciphoen i68+ with latest version of firmware v3.0 is costing me less than 3200 rupees or 450 RMB if i make a direct payment to the website which sells them.

Did u checkout ebay india, some guys in Gujarat and mumbai are selling the 3G for less than 4000/-(excluding shipping) with a 6 page menu.

The scophone webiste is offering for 90$ +19$ shipping, well over 5000/-
 
^^ Here in China there are tons of such phones that we get all over. The competition is quiet tough and these guys churn out a new one every now and then.

Even the clones of n97 are available in the chinese market and they look a and feel same even when it comes to the GUI

PS: Price of that phone is too high but (the one you have linked)
 
Just the iphone+ JAVA = 80 $
TV + wifi = another 80$ :S

May be since it new:D , the prices are high.

Also u may get it cheaper if one is from china !:ashamed:
