Where to buy PSP Slim in chennai?

As u guys know i am in chennai for 2 months (i live in delhi). Since i have no PC here, i am missing playing games here, so i am thinking about getting a PSP Slim. Now, i live near Tidel Park. I have an idea about Thiruvanmiyur, Adyar and Spencer Plaza. At Spencer Plaza, LandMark, PSP is available although i am not sure if it is the slim version. I think the slim version is not available officially yet so i can't buy it from Sony World.

So, from where can i buy a PSP and be sure that i am not being cheated. I also want to buy a 4GB memory stick for PSP if the price is good. Which should be better: Sandisk or Sony memory stick?
 
Head to Richie street.
There is a shop selling all these consoles, the Shop name is Moosa games I think.
Me and saiyan may go to Richie street on saturday, if you want you can join us.
 
ok, lets see if i can go. The main problem is that my mobile is dead. It is off for a few days as my mobile charger is with some other friend. So, how'll we be able to meet without a mobile.

i am going home now, so would be able to reply only 2morrow. Will they upgrade my PSP firmware too (to play downloaded games) or would i have to do it myself? and what are u going to buy there?

I think, they will do modding. (some time back, saiyan's friend bought one. You can confirm it with him)
Saiyan goes there every week :P. I am going there to buy some small electronic stuffs.
 
oops, bro i won't be able to go this saturday :( Actually i talked to my PG owner about internet connection. He said that the connection should be up within a week. Now, i want to wait and see if he'll give me an unlimited download internet connection. If i don't get a unlimited connection, it's no use buying a PSP in chennai for me as i won't be able to download the games. So, i have to wait until i get an internet connection.

and by next week, i should get my mobile charger back. Thanks for ur mobile number bro :) Would u and Saiyan be able to accompany me next time when i am ready to buy a PSP?

@gmano, since u'll be going to Ritchie street 2morrow, please check out the prices of the following:

1) PSP Slim: Check whether they flash the firmware or do i have to do it myself

2) Memory Stick cost: Sandisk, Sony memory stick: 1GB/2GB/4GB prices

3) Warranty of PSP Slim and memory stick.

Just a month back Saiyan's friend bought slim psp in Richie Street, if you contact him, he will give you the price details. (Saiyan has his last exam today, from morrow he will be free).

oh wow, thanks bro :) Just tell me the latest price of PSP Slim and memory sticks if u go to ritchie street 2morrow. And at what price did ur friend bought the PSP and memory stick? Do u have a PSP too?
 
hey, @gmano and @Saiyan bro, did u went to ritchie street on saturday? If yes, then please post the latest price of PSP Slim and memory sticks. I went to Spencer Plaza on Saturday but coudn't go to Ritchie Street as it was too late in the night.
