Storage Solutions Where to buy Western Digital Laptop HDD WD3200BPVT (for PS3) online.

Hi,

I 've been on the lookout for a HDD for my PS3 and Zeored on
WD Scorpio Blue 320 GB Laptop Internal Hard Drive (WD3200BPVT)

But I can't seem to find it online (Prime , SMC, FK )except in Itwares.
Western Digital 320GB Scorpio Blue WD3200LPVT / WD3200BPVT 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5'' Internal Notebook Hard Drive
The product is mentioned as WD3200LPVT / WD3200BPVT so confusion previal over the model no. Awaiting reply mail from them.

WD3200LPVT - Height is 6.8mm ( this will fit into PS3 , but not sure the SATA connectore would be properly align. any insight on this ? )
WD3200BPVT - Height is 9.5mm ( used in PS3 ).

Any pointer towards finding this drive would be greatly appriciated with a beer . :cheers:

Dude, the normal Laptop Sata drive can be installed in the PS3.

what do you refer it as normal the 9.5mm or 6.8mm .

Visit any computer hardware store and tell them u need 320gb or 500gb sata laptop hdd. The newer slimmer hdds are for netbooks.

I found the excat drive I was looking form Shop near by.
