OC & Modding Where to Get AS 5?

You could also get cooler master's htk-002 thermal compund kit, It costs around rs 150 and it gave me great temps with my oc'd e4300.
 
i got a pm from palito with a link where AS5 being sold, dunno why he didn't post it here. Mx-2 looks nice but costs 2wice as more as AS5.

dunno abt bangalore but its available for 2750 at prime, mumbai (any changes in the price yet mumbai ppl?).. guess one of the mumbai guys can ship it to u coz gaurav's GO is on hold for now till his exams get over i believe..
Also according to Eazy, Prime was gonna get some Scythe S-Flex(SFF21F) fans as well, so if u can get hold of that, that would be the best combo i guess..

^ brunton road is near hosmat/mg road. Its the first left after Hotel Ajanta If you'r going from kids kemp towards , say, Central.

For the last few days I have been breathing down Primes back about these fans - it seems they are at the customs in Mumbai and they should have been cleared yesterday and be up for sale on 25th Aug. But check with Prime before you make the trip.

MX2 is definately a better heat sink compound compared to AS 5 - but it must be applied the recommended way to get max benefit .... the instructions for MX2 application can be found here... http://www.arctic-cooling.com/downloads/installation/install_mx2_retail.pdf

Oh !! :( I was gonna ask my cuzin in mumbai to pick up this combo frm Prime 2mrw itself.. Guess will have to inquire first.. Thanx for the heads-up...

Btw any price drop on the TRUE 120? and any idea abt the pricing of the fans??

Tommorow is 25 Aug :) ... Prime should have them tomorrow... but check with them and confirm.

I dont think there is any price drop for the TRUE's but try your luck anyway... if they are not selling fast enough then there could be a price reduction.

The last time I checked Prime gave me a price of 800/- each for the fans - cannot remember if it was +4% or all inclusive.

EDIT: The good news is that Prime is shortly opening a branch in New Delhi.
