where to get PS2 soft mod on memcard in palika/lammy

need info on getting a ps2 soft mod on memcard as suggested by a TE member which allows to play backups off HDD and the cheap discs widout voiding the warranty...and thisis not about the swap discs... something to do with a sw on memcard. is dat possible in palika /lammy and pros/cons of dat with price and name of shop will be highly useful (i know im asking for too many things at once !!!)

ninja electroncs.lamington road.this is exactly opposite to the police station and the shop is kinda inside a gully, you can ask any vendors there they will tell you but remember the shop is exactly opposite to lamington police station.

how much does it cost ..just to make sure im not ripped and does it wrk as smoothly as a hard-mod ?
