Where to get 'STRIP' of SE Z750i

Hi,
My dad dropped his Sony Ericsson z750i in water and now nothing comes up on the screen. The mechanic says something called a Strip has to changed. Now the problem is that this phone isn't available in this country(bought from Muscat) so it's not available here. Where do I get one for the phone? Also is there any way to view the contacts on the phone?

HELP!!!!
 
changing the strip won't make any difference in case it's liquid damaged...!!

Still i will try to look for it...Everything's avilable here in Ghaffar market..!!!

if available, u will be getting only original one in ghaffar from a dead or defective phone..new one won't be available here..!!

If you want old , will try to look if its available with some repair shops..

Ohh.... I too have the same problems....

I have Paypal Account & International Debit Cards but Paypal takes only Credit Cards in India..... So, I practically have NO Paypal..... :@

I guess u'll have to ask someone to buy it for u. DO NOT post a '[WTB] Paypal Money' thread in the Forum. It's against the rules.

Mayanksahni has agreed to buy it from eBay for me.....well, I hope it's the flex cable causing display trouble....else I'm screwed....
