Where to go for Computer parts in Cochin?

Hi Friends

I am planning to upgrade my old PC at home (Tamilnadu). But I live (Work) in Cochin.

Up in my priority is to get a better Cabinet, and PSU.

I would be more than happy to know if someone could guide/suggest me a good place for shopping Computer hardwares in Cochin (Ernakulam)?:huh:

Look around in Panampilly Nagar. There is a zebby dealer(you can find the address from their website) there who stocks pretty much all their models, and many shops in the vicinity too. And expect prices to be about 100-200 rupees higher than those mentioned in the forum/metros etc.

What do you think of Menaka Junction(Broadway) and Kadavanthra?

Is there any particular shop you know in these places or any other location in cochin for computer related items?

(Meanwhile, I will try in Panampilly Nagar on Sunday)

^^ nah, most of the shops I went there to while trying to by my pc couple of years back didn't know the first thing about computers and they don't stock anything but the most generic stuff. And that itself was pretty overpriced. From what I can tell, the best way to do it is to find a good assembler in panampilly nagar and get other specific stuff from the distris that are also located there.

Of course it has been over a year since I've been to cochin so maybe things have changed a bit there now.

Yup, i am looking for Cooler Master 690 cabinet(with or without side transparent panel).

I will call both Pooja Tech as well as Abacus.

You are very correct on that Chiron.

We need our very own Itwares and PrimeAGBs in Kerala for better deals.

I guess Imrahn from Kollam is having some good contact with local distributors on GPUs and Sound cards. I might try PM him on this.
