Hello!

need a 240GB SSD for my desktop, which has the mobo as Asus P8Z68 V-Pro, and cabinet is HAF-X. am getting an intel 520 for 4.5k (warranty till April 2017) from a forum, while i also see some other offerings online, like:

- kingston ssdnow uv400 (4.3k)
- kingston hyperx fury (4.4k)
- sandisk plus g25 (5k)

pls suggest which of these four will be better. budget is upto 4.5k.

I am in the same situation. I have shortlisted Samsung EVO 750 too besides your list. ~5K
Some feedback would be great!

Dunno about the others, but I just got a Samsung 750 EVO 240 2 days back and I'm really liking it. Almost the same performance as the 850 but cheaper.

thanks for the inputs! will the 750 EVO be any better than intel 520, & esp. when the latter is for 4.5k & an year of warranty?

i have availed intel warranty once and it was flawless exp.even though it was bought in usa.

great. pity though that i'll be getting only one year's facility. not that there should occur any chance of availing it. :D

I am using Crucial MX100 for close to two years now. Flawless performance. My Windows 8.1 still boots in 10 seconds and shutdown in couple of. :p

Go for Samsung 750 , have used Kingston and Evo 750 beats it hands down also the magician software for Samsung is really good and you can use its os optimization feature for a very good experience

thing with samsung is their use of lower binned tlc flash.
intel on the other hand uses best possible binned flash from micron hence they are one of the few to give 5 yrs warranty on their ssd.
