Android Which 5.x ROM for SGS3 i9300

I am new to this ROM flashing business. Never tried before.
But since my old SGS3 (on stock 4.3) has become incredibly slow now, I am planning on trying out some ROM if that makes my phone usable.
I have done the basics - Rooted, installed TWRP, did NAND backup and also other backups using Titanium.

Now I have to choose the ROM to install and I am not sure.
Anyone using any 'stable' Lollipop ROM on SGS3? Any recommendation?

I too have a stock s3 i9300 . Its on stock 4.3 too and its not slow at all . Try resetting and wiping data and cache . After using many ROMs from xda I have realized stock is the best for daily usage . If stability is not important to you any lollipop rom you can try . Some have batery or camera or sound or call quality issues . No rom is perfect . I have tried cm 11 for s3 too . Not perfect . In the long run realised for good battery backup and camera quality and call quality stock is the best . Using s3 for 2 years and s4 for 8 months now .

I had flashed with some nightly build CM12 on last Sunday and have been using it since without any major problems.
As with the same normal usage, I am getting somewhat better battery time and also much better overall performance (as my previous stock had became too damn laggy)

No major issues I have faced till now - just hanged once in last week when I had to restart (I consider that normal )
Smaller issues -

• If images are deleted from the file browser, the default image gallery doesn't get refreshed and shows old thumbnails. I dunno if there is any workaround, not much of a deal breaker anyway.
• Facebook contact Sync isn't working. I am not sure whose issue that.
• No option to hide contacts with no number - is that Lollipop thing or just CM12s?
