Graphic Cards Which 8600GT?

I have an E4400, G965RY, 2X1GB Corsair value select, Zebronics Lava+120mm fan, CM 380W Extreme Power and 17" Viesonic widescreen LCD.
I want a gfx card to play games at minimum 1024X768 (all set to max+4AA) hyeah: and Crysis+Bioshock+Gears of War+CoD4 @ 1024X768 medium-low settings.
And I don't want to upgrade my PSU. :ashamed:

Will a 8600GT suffice. I will go for any 256 DDR3 version. I think it should cost me around 6K. please suggest the appropriate card and brand. Which one is better XFX, POV, MSI, Galaxy or ASUS and what are the prices. Also, is it worth going for XFX 8600GT XXX at 7.5?

XFX, MSI, Galaxy are gud. go for them dude. i am using the MSI card and its really cool. rest depends on the amount of money you wanna spend. the more the sugar the tastier the stuff will be. enjoy.

Getting the card is fine but will I be able to play the said games at decent resolution and details?

YES it will definately on 1024 resolution with medium settings u will get GR8 framerates............

my cousin has it a galaxy one !

I have made up my mind. I will get Galaxy OC version. I think its price is 6.2K.
Will this card be better than XFX 8600GT or MSI 8600GT? Is galaxy's after sales good in Delhi... anyone here who has dealt with them???

Get an XFX or Zebronics 8600GT.

XFX - 5600

Zebronics - 4800

U wil be able to run all the above games at medium-high settings ..

I use a sparkle 8600 gt 512 MB card.. Seems decent as of now...Was trying the crysis demo(only a few mins) at 1024*768 all high barely playable(in the sense it will depend on a scene whether it will be smooth or stutter a bit ) price a month back was 6.1k all inclusive bangalore

me havin xfx 8600 GT n is working sexo for me :hap2: the only problem is bout its temperature gets hot sum times :ashamed:
also have OCed to 725/1700 :cool2:

whichever you get.. if its running at stock i dont think u need to worry about the temps
and you can run all the games at 1024X768 but u will have to lose the AA
crysis will run at a mix of low-medium settings to be playable but the rest of the games will be fine
