Which AC to choose?

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but is the extra investment of around 10k to 12k on the purchase of a 5 star 1.5 ton Panasonic split AC worth it when compared to a 1.5 ton 3 star AC from the same brand?
I'm planning to buy one for my bedroom which is around 140 sq.ft in area, and does not receive direct sunlight on any walls. There are two floors above ours. My 2nd bedroom is around 160 sq.ft in area, and receives direct sunlight on one wall. Would a 1.5 ton AC be sufficient for either of these rooms?

Apart from the energy usage reduction, it might be a good idea to confirm whether 5 start AC uses better quality materials inside. This might prevent issues in the future. Not sure how to confirm this though.

why so much difference.. it should be less?... diff is only 6k or 7k
agree but let me add 2 more if someone avoids these 3 due to budget issues [ Mitsubishi and o general are costly af]

mitsubishi heavy > mitsubishi > daikin/o general > bluestar> carrier.
got 2 Bluestar installed last summer and they cool a lot better than daikin

daikin quality has gone down when they started to manufacture in India

+1
PANASONIC OR BLUESTAR WHICH IS BETTER AND WHY OR EQUAL ?
Had experience with LG, Bluestar, Hitachi & panasonic.
Hitachi tops in terms of cooling & budget friendly too compared to rest. Service hit or a miss. Make sure proper installation should be done with vaccum. Lg is worst in terms of cooling & their after sales service is best.

Two cents of mine for top cooling & longevity of the unit - please clean indoor unit filters once a month & outdoor unit fins once in three months.
What about panasonic and bluestar please elaborate
