Which Bank to choose?

Sorry for the dumb question but what is this relationship value thing??
Total amount you are putting in totality on various offerings available by bank . In simpler words the total value you have in fixed deposit's + Bank balance + mutual funds + any investment products + the Balance of any existing loan .

Citi's Service was good at least till 2011 when i last had a account with them . Till date i have never experienced such quick turn around times . It was one of my first Bank account but they increased minimum balance from 10k to 20k and then to 200k which i couldn't maintain

I had lots of saving accounts till 2012. In terms of service/overall satisfaction, the order would be
citi > scb >> kotak >= icici >> sbi = pnb = uco

I was totally happy with citi/scb. They had great customer service offerings... always just a call away for anything and everything..

Sorry to all of you who have been posting their suggestion. I was really busy last week. Only got about 1-2 hours/day for myself in this week

Well I recently opened Sal A/c with HDFC on Friday for my new employer. They have tie up's with HDFC, Axis, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra, Yes Bank etc. and few others.

Well I had Axis before with my previous employer and I just loved them. But here I saw HDFC is offering much more things.
1. Unlimited Cheques during the Year
2. Debit Card which can be used on any ATM (No charges even after 5 Transactions) :D
3. Daily limit of 1.75k (Though this is not necessary for me :P)
4. No branch based operations, one can operate from any branch. No need to go to base branch. (Here there's a HDFC Branch just opposite to my house, but for Axis, I had to go to bit further)

Don't know, peoples experience with HDFC, but locally, and other colleagues said they are too with HDFC and suggested HDFC.

I guess he is thinking in terms of 1.75 000 ;)

Ok anyone having Kotak Mahindra bank account. Hows their service?

I am using only kotak mahindra bank for my banking needs .Branch based service is good due to low number of customers , Interest rates are good and they offer ample number of benefits in comparison to other banks . They have been better in comparison to Citi and Standard Chartered over various charges and certain services . You may be required to visit your branch for Certain requests like Net Banking Password regeneration etc .

It is a normal bank with no excessive charges or even offers with the best in class Internet banking (generates VCC too )

This is a normal Savings Account not a corporate account .
