My old exide battery conked off after 3 and half years of usage. A friend recommended aamaron, as it was a couple of hundred bucks cheaper. Also there is tata green, which is relatively new. Both exide and tata cost around 1400 and amaron is around 1200.

So which one should i go in for? Still to the tried and tested, or go in for tata green?

Exide is expensive, lasts as much as any other battery.

Alternatively you can try base terminal from panasonic, they are quiet affordable.

P.S am using a 7ah UPS battery for my bike from past one year and doing extremely well.Costs half as much.:)

My exide died and , exide is costly out here in mumbai , when i went hunting for the batt , i was quoted 1850 for the exide batt !....i was like dammm!......then i waited and checked out a battery installed and running on 3 bikes - 2 karizmas and 1 pulsar 180 , these guys had no issues runing that battery for almost a yr. the brand name is "Addo" - 12 months replaceable warranty, if the batt has any issues from the 13th to the 18th month - u pay 50% cost of new battery and get a new one.....i have been using since 4 months now , never gave any issues or problems......cost : 1200 :D

also amaron has launched battery for 2 wheelers now , u can check it out as well...
