Which brand is good for 16 port Switch, plz suggest?

Hi Friends, planning to buy a 16 port switch for home use with 3 pcs and 1 printer. kindly suggest which brand is good and whats the approx price.

A 16port switch is way over kill for 4 devices. Get any 8 port switch, D-Link or any other reputed brand. Or in case you have a adsl broadband connection, get a router/ modem with 4 ports.

A decent 8 port should be available for under 1k while a decent 16 port would set you back by at least 2/3k.

Netgear is very good brand switch and price is reasonable too. Be it 8 port or 16 ports.

Using a D-link switch for more than a year and havent experienced any issues till now. Is there anyone who has any idea about compex switches. In most of the authorized service centres like LG, Samsung, INTEX, etc., they use this.
