Which cell??

Well my friend is planning to get a mobile. well she doesnt want a high end phone. what she wants is a good phone, budget abt 5000Rs extendable to 6000 and no more...

the cell phone should be user friendly, easy to use especially for messaging..:)
more importantly it should be a colour phone.
thats abt it any suggestions.
 
Motorola L6 ....
but it more so depends on which phone she had earlier... if she is used to Nokia, then she wont like Motorola's UI... so if u can tell me which phone she had used, i would suggest smthing else.. :)
 
i think u shud go 4 a Nokia 5140i
a very gud phone i owned it 4 bout a month b4 i took a N80
available in many colours nd has a very sporty look
it haz infrared, FM Radio, it haz SMS plus MMS, nice keypad nd obviously a coloured screen i think dis wud be de perfect choice 4 u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nd if im not misaken it also haz video confrencing

well 5140 seems nice but she is not interested in features what she wants is a

good phone with colour display and good keypad for comfortable messaging...

and above all the budget is only 5000 odd Da Legend Killer
 
wat abt 3120... i like its keypad for messaging... and colour phone means 4k colours or higher resolution??

wat abt6020/6021 does it come within tat range??
 
well i would suggest Nokia 6020, and if u can wait a week or 2 then th new 6080 is coming.. it should cost around tht price range..

Well nokia has already 'launched' 6080 but according to several sites - it won't be available till the 4th quarter this year...

If she can do without the camera - the 6030 seems good (Rs.4000-4500)

BTW is the 6020 better than the L6 (excluding the UI) ??
 
6020 - 3.5mb memory L6 - 10mb memory.

Both have gprs but only 6020 has edge..

6020 - has IR port L6 - doesnt.

6020 - no BT L6 - BT 1.2

Thats a nice phone. Compact, comfortable and does what you need. I got mine 6 months back for 4.2k. Should be lesser now. Its not in production though, so might be a bit tough to get it.
