Which Compression utility do you guys use ?

I just use Winrar has an awesome interface, is less obstructive and supports most of the compression formats.
Winzip is totally hopeless now. Wonder who buys the software ?

WinRAR used mostly.
but i still use WinZIP

But for highest compression use a software called uharc and the GUI for
uharc is WinUHA [Best Compression i have ever seen].

7-zip is cool, thats what i use for unzipping, for zipping i use Winzip and not Winrar, coz i've had many corruption probs with winrar...
BTW a friend of a friend managed to compress an entire game (the Hulk) into 160mb usng some software (only prob is compression takes one or 2 hours) ...

Use mainly Winzip cause when I Winrar a file and give it to my friends they dont have Winrar intalled.

In such case, I still use winrar to create the zip file. :tongue:
Edit: I tried 7zip recently, but it couldnt handle the games and software, that comes as a series of rar files. So, back to winrar hyeah:

I suppose I could do that - but somehow I prefer the interface of Winzip so I just stick with it.
