Storage Solutions Which DVD writer reads DL DVD+Rs very well?

My Sony DRU -830A is unable to read Verbatim DL DVD+Rs written by itself using ImgBurn at the lowest possible speed of 4x.Any solutions ?

In other words is it time to dump the Sony?Which is the best DVD-writer around?LG?Samsung?

LiteOn iHAS524, Samsung SH-B083L ,Sony DVDRW DRX-S70U-W are certified to support Verbatim DL DVD+R media as per manufacturer test reports.

Don't even think of LiteOns, ASUS is best when it comes to reading media. Samsung have best overall SATA DVD writers. I'd go with ASUS SATA.
