F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin
FarCry 2

Will be playing
Assassins Creed 2
NFS Shift
Batman AA
Blur
Prince Of Persia
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
GRID
Burnout Paradise

Suggestions.

Go for the MX518. Brilliant mouse. Love the on the fly adjustment! Works fine with Win7. :)

MX518 among the 2 options but if u increase ur budget to 2.9k den u must buy Razer Death Adder ( Best Mouse Ever under its prize range)

If i increase my budget then I prolly might go in for the Logitech G5....

but then again, I am not a hardcore gamer so the MX518 I think wud be the best

You are playing 5 games at a time..guess you can call yourself a hardcore gamer. Don't forget to get a suitable surface as well :)

there's NO reason to buy a G5 over an MX518. don't buy into the marketing hype. save your money.

seriously, no reason at all... even if you are a "hardcore" gamer.

the Death Adder is good... but you might as well buy an IE 3.0 which is much cheaper and performs just as well for all practical purposes. the shape is the same. costs around 1.5k

in fact, for the games you plan on playing... any cheap mouse that won't skip when you move it too fast will do.

remember this: there's a reason why even the most "hardcore" gamers (guys who are actually winning international tournaments for competitive games i.e professional gamers) are still using 10 dollar mice, although they're sponsored by and endorse companies like Razer.

try ... ms sidewinder x8......

i m using it for the past 5 months.....

is great for gaming and looks sexy...

its not yet available in india...

try with kdm. or 20north.com....

it came for "5.3k" n 20north.com....

Logitech MX 518 is the best mouse under 2k. its priced now at 1300/- Im using it for 1 year with windows Vista and i ain't got any problem with it. On the fly dpi inc and dec. I mostly use this gaming mouse for my office use and also played games like Fear 2, kane and Lynch, Terminator Salvation, Dead Space.

Dont go for any kinda crap from logitech... Buy any razer mouse.. it will be rocking

Can you give justifications, just do not go on posting random statements. As Ashr said, most professional gamers yet use MS IE 3.0 :)

Honestly, First you should decide which type of mouse suits you. MX518 and Salmosa are entirely different type. MX518 is palm-type which you can claw on and Salmosa is predominantly finger type. Hold the mouses and see it for yourself. Have a look at the OCZ behemoth too, if you're into the palm-type, loaded with features and yes its palm-type, which took me 2 days to get used to.

LOL! What a suggestion!

+1 for the MS I.E 3.0. First hand experience from yours truly, who's shifted from the MX518 (grip-peeling issues) to the Razer DA (double-click issues) and finally settled for the MS I.E 3.0.
