I read an article somewhere...will post the link if I remember and from that NFS:U2 doesnt allow even the NV40/X800-class cards to do 1600x1200 all high.6800GT gave between 20-30 fps.Only the X850XT and an overclocked 6800U were able to do >30fps at all times.

the effects show only in DX9 card so simply out of question for MX440. And you can maxx the settings on a low end card as well. Just tat you will get very low frame rates.. very very low when there are all 4 cars in the frame....
However this is good coz then you have enough reaction time and you can control the car better. ;)
So when you upgrade from a low end card to high end, you would think what happened to your excellent skills you had on your pathetic card.

ppl that sis 6326 comment is obviously supposed to be an euphemistic. An fx5200 CANNOT play nfs ug2 with any decent detail level. Get atleast a radeon 9600/9600 pro.

Exactly the same thing happened to me when i jumped from IE 2 to a 9800 pro, lol took me a while to get used to that high frame rates :ohyeah:

Ok The reason I posted that because the user Hardboy is trolling excessively. Sis 6326 does not even have hardware Open GL support and cant even play Direct 3d games on it. Its the most useless AGP card made and I yet have it ;)

Just 2day had a bad bios flash on my FX 5700.Used the borked up gf3 to create a blind flash disk.Sometimes that piece of hardware that may seem useless can turn out to be life-saving.

I too have it with my 6 year old P3 manchine.
It cannot play latest D3D games but it sure can play games like NFSHS and NFSHP just fine with full D3D.
