Graphic Cards Which GPU at 15k ?

I have a budget of 15k (maximum) and want to buy a gpu for casual 1080p gaming once or twice a week. The games I play are fps/racing titles.
The following are the specs of my current system:-
  1. CPU - Intel i5 3550
  2. Motherboard - Gigabyte B75 D3H
  3. Ram - Gskill Sniper 4x4gb ddr3 1600 (16gb)
  4. PSU - Corsair vx550
  5. Storage - Samsung 128gb 830 SSD (Win 7 64 bit)
  6. Cabinet - Coolermaster USP 100
Kindly suggest something which may last me for 2 years atleast.
 
How much is a GTX 660 these days...maybe wait for nVidia to launch new cards this week...
Are you open to buy used ones form here at TE, maybe you can get a deal on some good cards...
 
@reoparker - Ahmedabad - getting powercolor/sapphire for 14,700 to 15,300 with 3 years warranty + bill etc. I however plan of going with a 660ti (used) as of now.

Thanks for the thread...I am in the same boat as my display card conked...So what is the final advice is it GTX 660 or HD 7870...I am using a 4870X2 now...

You can get Sapphire HD7870 2GB for 16.5k locally or Zotac GTX660Ti 2GB for 19.5k locally or Zotac GTX660 2GB for 16k locally. Choose wisely.
Best bet: Sapphire HD7870 2GB for 16.5k
 
If, for whatever reason, u suddenly decide to lower your budget by approx 50%, the Gigabyte 650 ti BOOST can be had for 10.9K at SMC. I read this mid ranger handles 1080p well; but i could be wrong.
 
I have a 550W Corsair VX550 - I think the 7870 would be a better buy for me. I have been looking for the Tahiti based 78070XT/LE from Powercolor or Sapphire. I am unable to find these cards. Does anyone know where I could get them in India?
