ok i know that there is no warranty on the gpu shipped from other countries..
but inspite of knowing this thing i want to buy a gpu from canada because it will save my money.
i am getting a regular gtx 460 1 gb card from canada in the price range of 9600inr to 11.5k ... as there is no warranty on this cards so i want to ask which brand i should prefer, that is which card i should buy from canada that has very low failure rate...??

If you are getting a card there for 11.5k and a card here is like 13k makes no sense at all but thats your call, I would reccomend whatever you get with the longest warranty maybe if and when it does give an issue you can figure out a way to send it back for rma or whatever.

Maybe buying a card like Asus or Gigabyte will let you ship to SE Asia if something goes wrong and they will mail the replacement to you. I have heard of something like this before but I have never done it myself maybe somone with more concrete knowledge on this will chime in.

main problem is my budget .....i want to buy gtx 460 1gb but in india the price is hovering around 14k and also i have to buy a psu also so considering corsair vx 450 for 3.6k then my total investment will reach to 17.6k which is beyond my maximum budget of 15k......

recently also i have heard of one company called point of view ,they are offering warranty of 2 years..so is it good to buy this card as it costs less than the other available cards..so is it good to buy this card...

Btw 13k flat for Zotac 460 1gb ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card

I realise its easier said than done but get another 1.5k together and get stuff from here itself. It will cost you that more to send it wherever for RMA and that process is unlikely to go smoothly and probably will take more time as well. Wait a month more if you can and are in no hurry AMD have some cards coming could drop the price another 1k on the 460.

I personally feel for saving 2-3 k when you are already spending quite a bit is not worth the risk, if you were getting it from the states KMD could probably help you with RMA but if there is no chance of RMA later , you dont have anyone in Canada to help you out with it etc I feel its not worth the risk.
