Camera Which Handycam for 10-15k ??

As topic name suggests...i need to buy a handycam preferably Sony which has VHS as recording media. My budget is around 10-15k max 17k....

Some features that i need is :

Bang for buck
Good Optical Zoom
Connectivity with PC via usb etc.

Also want to buy it locally from mumbai not gonna import or any other method so please suggest accordingly.

So any suggestions (proper suggestions) are welcomed as i dont have much knowledge of the handycam thing. :ashamed:

Whay do u want to go for a VHS Handycam?

For your budget, you can go for a sony MiniDV handycam.. Its all digital.

GO to any Sony Showroom and check the prices...
VHS handycam is so 90s ....
 
well why on earth do u want a VHS based one atleast get urself a DI-8 based camcorder.u can also go for a HDD based camcorder like the sony DCR-SR45E costs MRP 22990 but should be within ur budget if u buy in the grey market.
