I have a Compaq C752 TU laptop... out of warranty, the HDD has developed bad sectors so I need to buy a new one... It came with a Toshiba 160 GB Sata2 HDD... Can't get it replaced because unfortunately Toshiba ties its warranty with the Laptop manufacturer...
My max budget is 2,500 bucks.. Please suggest Seagate Momentus vs WD Scorpio vs Hitachi (if i get it there).. I'll be buying it from Nehru Place...
Usage is heavy, because the Laptop is also my primary Download rig, so there is loads of Data transfer via wifi/USB sticks etc... It usually stays on for about 18~20 hours everyday...
