Audio Which intex speaker has good distortion free bass and sharp treble

guys, when it comes to price - performance ratio, i feel intex is the best. the mx-5021 which you recommend may be better than intex , but the price ???. deltapage.com states that it costs around 7k. Omg . I dont want to spend that much for a speaker which i will not be using for movies. For movies, normal sound is enough for me. Only for mp3 and gaming i require decent speakers and intex serves the purpose as for now.

Moreover my pc is in my office which is attached to my house. So i can game/listen to music and watch movies only after 9pm and on Sundays. Just browsing / office work for the rest of the time.

So for my use, spending around 7k is a waste.

Anyways thanx for your suggestions guys.

^^ROFLMAO.

atleast try VS4121.

my request is to open your ears and listen to real speaker systems. Intex is NOT VFM. there are much better, infact lot lot lot better speakers out there.

anyways, if you think Intex is the best, it's your decision. you are the one that is going to buy. enjoy the "ear piercing" sound :)

What you say may be true . i will think of buying that speaker later buddy. I have to save some cash for that.

Anyway thanks buddy...

if you felt that "since while gaming the sharpness of the treble is like tearing my ears. Very very realistic", this means that it is giving too much of high frequency sound aka treble You are missing lot of notes/tunes due to the overpowered treble and I am damn sure that your Intex speakers are having too much treble and far from being realistic sounding.

also, if this is the one that you have: Intex Super 2000 Speaker - Buy Intex Super 2000 Speaker online in India, best price n review

Have you ever heard to Intex speakers:rofl: There is nothing like overpowered treble / bass in Intex. I am using IT 4800W model since last 2~3 years and sound is far away better than any low end creative 5.1 models.

All of you thinking Intex speakers shit:rofl: Go to nearest hardware seller selling shit :hap2:( lol I mean Intex speakers ) and go thoroughly auditioning. Just because they are selling cheap does not make speaker crap.

yeah, thats right. Most ppl think that because of its lower price and normal look it will not sound good. But thats not true....

IMO the 2.1 is far better than the 4.1 as i have used both...

Exactly my point, high end range in Intex are pretty much on par and sometimes better than the low to mid range systems in Creative and Altec Lansing and at a bargain price.

The Intex speakers in plastic enclosures, you can dump them in the dust bin with your eyes closed, but the wooden ones are pretty decent and these are the ones that occupy the high end range in Intex.

yeah i m also using the intex 2.1 2000w speaker system with the wooden enclosure since 2002!!

back then there was no Techenclave people to guide me, i just bought a 2.1 speaker setup which my local computer wala was sellling,

at that time those intex speakers were selling like hot cakes everywhere around!!

so i bought the same

they r still going great

never felt like changing till now!

of course i have not heard the quality of high end creatives and altec lansings and logitech , leave alone ediffiers!!

these must be very good indeed!!

but i m happy with my intex as of now..

will only replace them when they r dead!! :p

Please say this after listening to mid end Altec Lansing's and Logitech's or Edifier's. Just assuming that Intex high end means AL mid range is .....

And yeah, I heard the sound coming from those wooden boxes and also tried zebronics, tech-com, mercury and numerous boxes. Because that was kind of craze even for some of my friends and when they listened to my MMS430 or MX-5021 or to my friend's ATP3, they clearly know the difference and they feel as if they are watching movie in a theatre. so much for a Altec lansing and philips mid range stuff, isn't it?

And as I said earlier, for some, my stomach starts spinning and ear starts paining by listening to deep treble (a.k.a clarity by some).

so, please don't teach me about Intex and other boxes audio quality :)

In Intex IT4800W speakers comes in wooden enclosures and sound is pretty good with balanced bass treble. Further plus point is price tag 3k for cheap 5.1 speakers.

And before going hyper about my personal opinion and saying that I should not try to teach you about Intex speakers (where did I try to in the first place :S) and poor old me should try to listen to Altec Lansing and Creative Speakers before passing judgement, you might want to take a look at my signature first.

I have an Altec Lansing 5.1 System right now (unlike the crappy 5.1 systems that Altec Lansing has right now, it was a much better one and costlier too) and before that I had a creative 4.1. I also have had experience listening to a number of creative's and Altec Lansing speaker systems (2.1, 4.1 and 5.1 mostly). I never have had occasion to listen to Logitech's as they are relatively new entrants to the market (they became popular only in the last 4 years)and I had already moved on to Headphones by the time they became popular.

I have also owned an Intex 4.1 system (wooden one) for an year and a half when I was at college and I also have listened to a couple other wooden speaker systems from Intex. They were definitely better than the Creative 4.1 I had. I have also listened to a number of mercury, Tech-com, Zebby, Quantum and the like and I agree that they are trash.

I am not an audiophile and I have no taste or interest in listening to music, but I still have about 12 different speaker systems at home (stereo, 2.1, 4.0, 4.1, and 5.1) till now from made to order ones to branded ones and I can pretty much distinguish from good to bad contrary to what you may think.

What I am saying is that If you want to stick to your convictions based on your personal experience, please do so freely and recommend to others what you want to and I will stick to mine based on my own personal experience. So please spare me the unwarranted rubbish as if I am personally attacking you or something.

Oh yeah. Even I too agree that Intex speakers are better than creative inspire 4.1 M4500. M4500 is total shit. I bought this, tried for one week and couldn't bear the quality of music and sold it off. That I do agree.

But when you compare them to mid range speakers of philips/AL/Logitech, there is no match.

And yes, I am saying these based on experience.

also, using a sub 3k 5.1 may serve the purpose of getting surround but every one who loves good quality audio knows that it's better to have a 3k 2.1 than to have a 3k 5.1 speakers, be it AL or Intex or anything.

PS: your signature doesn't show anything :)

My 5.1 Altec Lansing cost me nearly 7k when the regular Intex 5.1 fare was selling for 3k and Creative's were selling for 4k odd and yeah I got a 5.1 system because my main purpose for that was gaming, not music. I have also used my it in 2.1 mode and it easily beats the ATP3 and the other decent quality 2.1 systems. Only the MX5021 is a better 2.1 set at the time and it used to cost 12k.

In any case, the bottom line is that if you have 3k to spend on a 2.1 set, you would be better of with a higher end range Intex wooden speaker set (if its good) than a low to mid end AL or Creative. You can't expect someone with a budget of 3k to shell out 7k for a MX5021 simply because it better than the best Intex you can get for 3k.

Sorry about that, Altec Lansing 5.1 listing seems to have got removed when I had to shorten my sig according to TE new rules. :ashamed:

@OP:

Just Try out Altec Lansing VS4121 at any nearby shop or TE member.

Then come back on this thread and post your experience.

If you are not willing to try them, i shall assume that you dont have Any respect for Audio Quality. Then you can go ahead with your billion watt intex speakers.

PS: They just cost 2.9k, so you cant fuss about VFM now.

yes. he may not be able to put 7k but there were better sets for 3k and under 5k. that is why I mentioned VS4121, Edifier C3 or C2, Logitech Z4. Atleast the OP should've checked these sets, which was never done.
