Which is best mobile for around 16K ??

A friend wants to buy a new mobile.

He wants the N73 ME but he cant afford it.

The other options are the K790i and the M70 ME.

Camera is kinda important. He is a bit of a noob (like me :P ) and doesnt know what to do with Symbian. If he goes for the N70, what is the advantage of Symbian ??

I guess the music playback on both the phones is more or less identical.

The k790i has a better camera and he is leaning towards it. It comes with how many years warranty (if the joystick fails i.e).

And is the typing messages part in the k790i similar to NOkia ?? I mean, once he enables T9 dictionary, will it be the same ??
 
With symbian u can install any type of app to customize ur phone. Personally I prefer Symbian. n70me camera is lacking autofocus so the pic quality may not be that great. If the main purpose of the phone is camera then go with SE but 790i comes with a newer memory slot and the memory card is costlier. n70me comes with 1gb mem card.

The messaging system is a bit diff in SE.

Else check the E61i, has a 2MP cam + WiFi et al, not sure about official price, grey maybe about 17k but worth it !
 
Wi-Fi isnt really needed.....

He can browse using GPRS right ?? (I know it is slow.....but still).

And how much will a k790i+1GB cost?
 
se k790i .. the best 3 mp camera phone .. :)

better camera than nokia n73 me .. i own nokia one .. :ohyeah:

one of my friends has k790i .. and the music playback is very good too .. just that the memory card is expensive ..

A lot of B'lore is going WiFi and its a huge bonus if your house is WiFi too.., plus E61 is one of the best smartphones there giving all the 25k plus models a run for their money.

For a multimedia phone, as I said, K790i, period.

My house is Wi-Fi enabled....

But I am not really looking for Wi-Fi.
