Audio Which is better - Flipkart or ebay (buying portable speaker)?

My question is not really related to audio, though I'm about to buy a portable speaker, the X-mini II.

On ebay, I found it to be 105 bucks lesser than on flipkart. Is it worth it paying the 105 extra bucks to flipkart rather than getting it from ebay?

Here's the flipkart link and here's the ebay link

Any suggestions?

The seller at ebay is good; I have purchased from him. You can buy it from him. About coupon; you can check ebay deals thread.

Hmm .... can you let me know a good coupon to use ...the ones I tried from retailmenot are all used up or not working for me.

There is an ebay thread where you could ask for coupons. Else do a vodafone recharge of 150 and above and get a coupon in your email.

Another option is to buy pvr ticket using ngpay app

I never bought anything in ebay in my whole life. Reason is because i don't trust eBay

Everything in eBay looks cheap and used!!! I could be wrong of course, but whenever i think of eBay, i think of used stuff!!!

i think ebay is more trusted than flipkart. because ebay older than flipkart and have global service provider. also have a great deal in every week. ebay is global and trusted connection and website than flipkart. for global user and online buyers ebay is very good.

Not really. Ebay is known globally as a flea market

. There have been many cases of people getting items which are not as described. The good thing about Ebay is the payments are done escrow to Paypal (PaisaPay in India), and money is released to seller only when buyer consents.

FlipKart is reliable, and has a speedy delivery. It also offers Cash-on-Delivery for most items.

In this case, if the seller on Ebay has a good rating, then I'd go with Ebay since its cheaper, and there's also the chance for further reducing the price using coupons.

But how do you know if its not a used item? Even the highest rated seller may sell you rubbish?!? who knows if he bought that 'high rated' account from someone else??

If the Seller has a good rating, its an indication that he's probably trustworthy. You'll notice that almost all dealers on Ebay shirk away from negative rating by customers, and try to go to lengths to avoid it. I believe this is because Ebay offer more attractive rates to dealers that have a good rating (Powerseller or something).

If the item is not as described, the OP can always dispute and refuse to release funds from PaisaPay to seller, and leave a negative rating for the seller.

I would prefer flipkart if the price difference is not much. One very important thing I like about flipkart is speedy delivery and the other is nice packaging.

All the purchases that I have done so far on ebay took atleast 7 days to reach me whereas flipkart took just couple of days.

I'll have to give it a try.
