Storage Solutions Which is the best hdd.need suggestions.

Guys i need some guidance on which hdd to go for.
I have an old 80gb IDE hdd. Now i need an internal HDD with more space.kindly guide which one to go for.
max 1tb will do,
or will an external hdd suffice?i am a bit confused which one to go for.

Which machine are you running? Specs please. Do you have any SATA ports? Now a day, IDE drives are rare, and expensive too.

If you do not have any SATA ports, you will need to get a IDE SATA converter, available for around 250 bucks.
