Sir,

Q.1. I want to buy a Budget MOBO (within Rs.3000) for AMD 4400+ & 5200+ processors with onboard graphic card.

The MOBO should be with onboard Graphic Card and should be such that it can be upgraded with putting a graphic card in future.

Q.2. Can the mobo & above processor if used together can be overclocked?

Q.3. Are there any dangers of overclocking?
Rest of my configration for both the computers is :

RAM: 2*1GB Transcend DDR 2 : Rs.1750

HDD : Hitachi OR Segate Sata 2 320 GB (16 MB Buffer) : 2600

Lite On 20X DVD Writer with Light Scribe : 1200

Zebronics Bijli : 1650

Q.4. Your views on the above configration?

LASTLY GIVE YOUR SUGGESTIONS

My budget for the above CPUs is Rs.9000/- & 11000/-

1. go for any 690G based motherboard from gigabyte/asus/msi/zotac, its got fair onboard graphics, and a PCI-e slot as well.

If you could stretch your budget by 500bucks there is the 780G nirvana.

2. Both the 690g (nvidia) 780g(ati) solutions provide some overclockability however i would not recommend using integrated solutions if you are going to overclock it.
OC Pros here might shed more light on this.

3. Yes and No. If you know what you are doing and have done ur homework well, then no dangers since you know where to stop. else YES

4. Your config overall looks good.

Please do conider going for the 780g will serve you better since u'll be using onboard graphics for a while.

Pls give me model nos. with onboard graphics card as i am raw in hardware?

Pls also tell if it is better to buy 2 X 1GB ram or one module of 2GB ram for my CPU.

For ur budget, u won't be able to afford anything more than a 690G chipset based mobo. 780G is good but its costlier.

U can get the ASUS M2A-VM 690G as Sarang suggested. It's a AMD Validated Solution and is gud enuf for mediocre overclocking as well. And it stays stable for 24x7 operation.

Moreover, i am also on the same bandwagon. :P

It has onboard ATI X1250 which is sufficient for rendering Vista Aero interface. It's useful for times when u dont have a graphics card and u want to play that race of NFS MW just once. :P

And when u want to run full drive, install a discrete graphics card and start Crysis. ;)

Yes. FYI, I have overclocked my X2 4200+ from 2200MHz to ~2800MHz. Now dat's a nearly 27% overclock. So surely u can couple ur processor with the mobo to get similar results in overclocking. But...

But... Not all M2A-VMs the same nor every X2 processor is the same. One chip differs from the other. For example one of my friend had a X2 4200+ which refused to overclock beyond 2400 even at high voltages. While the one i have goes through seamlessly. So, if u are lucky enuf in having a good chip, u can get good results from overclocking as well.

Never feed insane voltages to ur proc. It will result in degradation of the chip and will eventually spoil it early. And remember the cooler the chip the better it is for longevity of ur processor. Cooling matters. Look around for what people are using and try to be in the safe range for voltages. Speed boost is tempting but don't be greedy. :bleh: If u follow the basic norms of overclocking(which u can find in Overclocking section of TE), then u'll be safe.

Q.4. Your views on the above configration?

Everything looks good but since u'll still have some cash left after buying all(out of the total budget of 11k), u can rather go for CoolerMaster Elite Cabinets rather than the Bijli. Atleast u'll save ur hands from cuttiing and shredding while meddling with the components inside. And just fix a intake fan for 200 bucks extra.

Well, rest is just fine...Happy shopping mate. :hap2:
