PC Peripherals Which is the best PSU among these ?

I am planning to buy a new PSU and I would like you all to suggest the best PSU among the following 5 choices :

1. Antec SP 2.0 500W

2. Powersafe 600W

3. Zebronics 640W (skyhawk oem)

4. Vantec Ion2 460W

5. Any other ?

Creating a poll for the same.

PS : I dont intend to do SLI / CF on these. just wanna know which is the best for a powerful overclocked rig.

Any other suggestions will be welcome but please keep my budget in mind which is under 5.5k.
 
Potentially the Zebronics 640W since funky is overclocking away to glory whereas dark's 600W powersafe is having issues.
 
SLI/CF under 5.5K In India With those Highly Unlikely...

Best amongst these according to me Zebby 640...

:ashamed: :ashamed: :ashamed: Well, that would be me .... I didnt read the budget part :( Thought I would recommend the Antec TP2.0 550 or Antec NEO HE.

But then I saw the budget part....So, my vote is actually Zebby 640.... Sorry for the confusion.

S*** didn't see the budget.. and last I heard the Zebby was around 5.5K... But I haven't heard recently since I came to mumbai! well another zebby vote.

Else id recommend you the NeoHE 500W!

I would say 640W Zebby.

Powersafe 600W is good but it craps out at Extreme OC's.Cant handle Dual Core and X1900XT.

The difference in price is about Rs.500/-
 
Yea, zebby 640 here too. But looking at your config are you sure u even need that kinda power. A vantec 460 W would suffice dont u think and u would save 2k. If ur planning to upgrade or a add a better gfx card then i would say go for the 640 but otherwise even with OC'in i think the vantec is more than enough.

if ur signature reflects ur actual existing rig then ur existing SP 400W should be sufficient, if you are not into extreme overclocking.
Otherwise you can get a Powersafe 500W psu. it costs about 2.6K
 
my current psu aint good enough and its the older smartpower series with a 20 pin connector and single +12v rail.. will be overclocking to the max possible so decided to change the psu.

thanks for all the votes .. will go for the zebby 640W.
 
Some different observations -

I tried some OC today again.

Powersafe handled -

Opty 170 @ 2.75GHz

Memory 1:1

X1900XT @ 700/749

Ran 3dMark,no issues at all.
