Suggestions please...

I want a easy to use application(offline) which can keep track of all my incoming and outgoing money. Indian currency support will be a plus point!

Excel should do your job pretty well. Just create a template for your monthly budget and keep updating it regularly.

@seshu: I think we can achieve that without any add-in. Select the column where you want the numbers to appear in Rs.x,xx,xxx.xx format, and format the cells as custom type, and select the one something like this: Rs. #,##0.00;[Red]Rs. -#,##0.00 This will make the positive numbers appear as Rs.x,xx,xxx.xx and negative numbers as Rs. - x,xx.xx

Prasad check the file in the link i posted ,it has everything you are looking for .Its not a ahem file its a file i got from a website dont even know which one and been preserving and using it from past 4 years .

Uploaded the template I use. This was modified from something downloaded online, and this works perfectly fine for me. Hope this would help you.
@MS: Saw that file. I had initially used it, but now i use the one I customized for myself. I do not need all that graphs, but I think it is very easy to even do that in your own file.

I use EasyMoney over android...really handy application over cell phone.

Sent from my Cell Fone using TapaTalk. :) Pardon me for any typos. :P

The versions of Excel starting 2007 support Indian currency by default. So there is no need for all those plugins and additional formatting :)
