Hi ppl,

I need to get a couple of gamepads for my new rig.... here are my requirements

1. Budget 600-800 per gamepad

2. Needs to be sturdy and lasting (at least one year)

3. Force feedback is not a must but won't mind if its there

4. Need both analog and digital mode with micro recording support if possible

5. A long cord will be plus... (can't expect a wireless one at the price)

any suggestions....

Frontech Fantasy PAD, 400/- but the very ergonomic to hold. probably on of the best low price gamepad. been using it for 2 years now.

Wheww.... thanks guys for the all the suggestions....

@lord_nemesis, which one are you suggestions from these

@nvidiabeast, Just had a bad experience of Asus Excite, '2' key on it broken in 3 months :(

@RiO, Logitech Precision 2 looks nice and sturdy at 550

@Hotstuff, which model are you using from Logitech?

@mehargags, are you suggesting this ? How is the feel and comfort for prolonged use? Does it have analog controls?

With all your suggestions, I can increase the budget for one of the two gamepads to 1k. So please suggest one great gamepad@1k and the other at around 600 to 800.

BTW, what should be the cost of Logitechâ„¢ Dual Actionâ„¢ Gamepad?

 Do u even know what analog controlers are ??? If u see the pic on the link u checked, it reveals clearly two Analog sticks. The build quality is way better than any other cheapo brand. The analog controls are precise & i guess ergonomic means comfortable As far as my knowledge goes. yes its very much ergo for prolonged gaming.

@mehargags, oops a typo bout analog stuff... thanx

On their site Frontech ppl say its the same controller which is used for PS... is it for real?

I had this controller, and it was simply amazing for its price. Buy it. The drivers may be painful ( I have heard many people say the floppy it is on never works). If that is the case, I guess Mehergags can help you (send you the drivers). Frankly, people will flame me, but I found its ergonomics to be somewhat better than the X360 controller. At least it fit better in my hand (but the button placement in the X360 is better).

I do agree - i have the Xbox360 controller also but somehow the finger thumb placement & reachabiity is much comfortable on the frontech fantasy pad. @kingerkool -- give a damn to someone who flames, since someone doing it, 110% sure he has never seen & used this pad. Its way way way better than the orig. PS2 controllers.

Abt the drivers, well i guess they work fine with XP/vista default HID drivers, but incase u want i have a copy which i can send across(1.38mb only).
Incase they are not available to someone near west delhi PM me, I have a stock for it always. will be Rs. 450/- each.. hehe
