Monitors Which LED monitor?

Guys, I need to buy a new LED monitor replacing my Asus LCD 16" HDready.

Budget: within 9k max

I want good contrast and sharp image within my budget.

My mobo supports HDMI, DVI and VGA.

I usually watch a lot of DVD rip movies and hence the higher resolution should not make these lower resolution movies look terrible.

If any LCD monitors will suit I am fine with them too.

Thanks in advance :eek:hyeah:

Dell ST2220M may be a good option for a budget of 9K.

IMO, you will sure find some good deals in LCD in 10K budget

Bruv go for the BenQ E 2220HD or Dell ST2220L ~ both priced around 8.5K <full HD, 22" monitors + HDMI out>, hope this helps. Prices are from Bangalore.

if u strictly want need a led monitor u can have a look at LG E2240T will cost smwhere arnd 9k my friend got it for 9.8k in Goa so i assume it iwll be 9k or lesser in mumbai or oder main cities, but BenQ E 2220HD certainly looks a better option ,

d lg monitor also is Full HD monitor and is 21.5 inch can try finding some reviews on both may help u make up your mind :)

Seems I will probably go with Dell ST2220L. Thank you ALPHA17 :)

However in my experience, I felt that contrast in LED monitor is better than that of LCDs.

Other than that, is there any reason I should stick with LCDs instead of LED..something like the life of the LCDs, etc?
