CPU/Mobo Which motherboard and ram for Ryzen 1700

Hi all,

Posting after a long long time. I am upgrading to Ryzen and have decided for 1700 processor. Now I am confused with the motherboard and ram to get. Overall, I have about 40-45k budget. Please suggest accordingly.

Also, I am using Corsair H100i and I found out that I need to have new mount for AM4 socket. Where is it available, any idea?

Are you planning to overclock? Then the best options are Asus x370 crosshair vi hero or Asrock x370 taichi. You will also require 3200 MHz RAM of some sort.

If you don't plan to OC, get a decent B350 board like the Asus b350 prime and 2400-2666 ram of some type.

Personally I use a 1700 @4g, 1.38vcore and 16GBx2 ram at 2933cl15. Runs really cool and is perfectly stable.

You can get the am4 mount from kaizen their service center. Alternatively buy an rog/rog strix board and you should be able to mount an am3 compatible cooler.(virtually any cooler). I am running my old deep cool AIO this way.

The issue with b350 and overclocking is vrms reach nearly 100 degrees due to cheap inefficient vrms and poor vrm cooling. Check the overclock.net thread about ryzen vrms and you will get more info.[DOUBLEPOST=1500316358][/DOUBLEPOST]As for ram, the most compatible ones are the gskill flareX ones.
 
Thanks for your replies. Actually I am, not getting decent price for my existing set up. OLX guys want not only my processor mobo ram but also my GTX 970, Corsair Carbide 740 air cabinet, H100i cooler all for 24k :(

DBS BANK LTD

IFSC code - DBSS0IN0811

But in bank and even in google, the IFSC code is showing as a DBS bank branch of Mumbai.

Now I am in confusion whether to transfer or not. I have already mailed them. But this should not happen. Am I missing out something?

A bit off topic but @Chaos can you please share your mobo and RAM model nos.?

I am too planning for a 1700 build.
